As?m GÜZELBEY, Mayor of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality said: ?It is very important for us to preserve historical and cultural heritage. In this regard, we will continue our efforts for reviving culture and history.? Mayor Güzelbey also stated that restoration performances of Naip Turkish Bath, Country Teahouse and stone building attached to Gaziantep Castle of which tenders were given out by providing a donation of 1,100,000 Euros; and added: ?In order to revive the Turkish bath culture, we will restore Naip Turkish Bath, deployed on a 742m2 area, and open it for public use. The importance of projects held in order to protect the cultural heritage shall be understood better once they are implemented. In my opinion, the restoration applications shall have very positive effects on tourism in Gaziantep. After the Naip Turkish Bath and two other buildings, environmental arrangements shall be conducted around the Castle.?
