    General Information
  Historical Traditional Teahouse
According to the information taken from verbal sources, it was built in 1947. According to the inscription at the northern side of the building, it is also known as Kumandan (Commander) Teahouse because of the Kumandan Fountain which attracts the attention thanks to its ornaments in artistic quality, and was built in 1917. The inscription on the Kumandan Fountain is embellished with the following statements reflecting utilitarianism approach towards people:

Drink water from this tower for the sake of Prophet Hussein, shah of the fallen
And pray sincerely for Commandent ?lmi.
Those places remained waterless as Karbala did,
Not even a drop of water to drink
Mr Sukru was the governor,
Mr Ilmi and he worked day and night,
And took pure water from the fountain
Thus gave life and delight to the city
My dear God, welcome in your presence all who worked for this
The cupbearer of Kevser make him drink it and deceive in the Day of Judgment
My God, make them be successful in favorable Works like this one.

Having functioned as its original until a short time ago, this building has been closed for restoration purposes recently. After the restoration and renovation are fulfilled the capacity of the Teahouse shall reach 170 people and its occupancy rate shall arrive at 80% by the vivacity of tourists.
